Lest We Forget

On Monday our thoughts will be with all those who have served and died in war and the families who have lost loved ones in battle.

Two years ago Bonser Design designed and produced 'Albany at the dawn of the Anzac legend' - it is probably one of the most fascinating and memorable books we have worked on. With superb, original, black & white photography the book depicts how the quiet, close-knit community of idyllic country town Albany became the epicentre and final departure point for more than 40,000 of the first Anzac troops.

The book also documents how, at the end of the Great War, Albany was certainly at the forefront of the tradition of the dawn service on Anzac Day and is now a thriving tourist destination as well as one of Australia and New Zealand's most significant pilgrimage destinations to experience the legend that shaped a nation.

Lest we forget.
